Rides

As our region is famous for its landscapes and its good air, here is 150m from the guest rooms the Voie du Tram: a wide path paved with slabs leads you through fields and bocage, a pleasant walk to get in touch with the softness of the Gaume landscape.

Gaume is the land of water. The Rabais pond, near Virton, is accessible all around. A parking lot serves it easily. 15 km from Rossignol, discover theLac de Neufchâteau, very well equipped with leisure facilities and accessible to all on its entire perimeter.

Very close to the abbey of Orval, the "bat trail" makes you discover the nature reserve of "Prés d'Orval" and its wet valley bottom (GPS coordinates: 49°38'05.6"N - 5 °20'42.3"E). Here are some short videos in sign language about this trail:

A museum

If the weather is gloomy, you could push on to Libramont and its excitingMuseum of the Celts . Nestled on the 1st floor of the municipal building opposite the church, this space offers precise, clear and very lively information on the ancient peoples of the Ardennes and Gaume. The whole family will enjoy it: you are invited to touch materials, structures, listen to stories, and even make your own fibula!

Of course, Orval Abbey is a must, and the new route has been designed for access by all audiences.
